mein neues Schlafzimmer / my new bedroom

 

Diese Woche verging im Nu und war ganz unter dem Motto ‘Ordnung schaffen‘… Ich wusch nicht nur Maschinen von Wäsche und räumte in der Wohnung auf, sondern ordnete auch in meinem Kopf und versuchte herauszufinden, was ich eigentlich in meinem Leben noch wollte… Es war leicht herauszufinden, was ich nicht (mehr) wollte, aber konkrete Pläne kristallisierten sich erst nach dem ersten Schritt und mit der Zeit heraus... und die Zeit wird zeigen ob diese auch realisierbar sind... Es bleibt also spannend! : )

This week went by in a flash and stood all under the motto ‘making order’... Not only did I machines of laundry and cleaned and cleared the apartment, but also did I make order in my head and tried to figure out, what I really wanted in my life... It was easy to find out what I do not want (any more), but concrete plans only emerged after the first step and with time... and time will tell whether these are realizable... Thus my life will remain suspenseful! : )

Das kaltnasse Novemberwetter mit konstantem Regen bei 3 Grad liess mich oft mein Vorhaben raus an die frische Luft zu gehen verschieben... aber wunderschöne goldene Herbsttage machten alles wieder gut, so dass ich wie immer 3 Mal zum Joggen an den See kam. Neben Yoga am Montag und Mittwoch Abend besuchte ich mit meiner Tochter Melanie das fantastische und entspannende SPA Schinznach-Bad (www.bad-schinznach.ch/thermalbader/thermi-spa).

 

Cold November weather with constant rain at 3 centigrade made me often change my plans of getting outside in the fresh air, but beautiful golden autumn days made up for it and I found time to run along the lake 3 times a week like always. In addition to yoga on Monday and Wednesday evenings I visited the fantastic and relaxing SPA Schinznach-Bad with my daughter Melanie (www.bad-schinznach.ch/thermalbader/thermi-spa).

Zudem fühlte ich mich diese Woche oft unheimlich müde… ob das mit der langen Reise, dem wechselhaften Wetter oder mit der ganzen Umstellung zu tun hat? Vielleicht alles zusammen - so müde fühlte ich mich jeweils! Trotzdem fand ich auch für meine Familie und Freunde Zeit, wenn auch etwas energielos.

 

Jemand hat mich gefragt, ob ich hier in den Ferien oder auf der Durchreise bin… ich hoffe doch beides! : ) Obwohl hier in der Schweiz noch einiges an Arbeit und Problemlösungen ansteht, hoffe ich doch bald zurück nach Essaouira zu kehren um mein Projekt clean & clear weiter voranzutreiben – das wäre wirklich eine Aufgabe, die mir Sinn und Spass machen würde… Mal sehen, was das Leben mit mir vorhat und ob ich damit meinen Lebensunterhalt verdienen werden kann!? - Eines habe ich von den demütigen und geduldigen Marokkanern gelernt und (wieder) angeeignet: Glaube und Vertrauen ins Leben zu haben, wenn man auch immer wieder enttäuscht wird…

Furthermore, I often felt incredibly tired this week... I don’t know if the reason was the long journey, the changing weather or the whole change? Maybe all together - that tired I felt! Nevertheless, I found also time for my family and friends, albeit somewhat floppy.

 

Somebody asked me, whether I am here on vacation or just passing through... I hope both! : ) Although there is still a lot of work and troubleshooting here in Switzerland, I hope to return to Essaouira soon and to push on my project clean & clear - that is exactly the mission that would make sense and fun to me... Let's see what life has ready for me and if I will be able to make my living with it!? - One thing I learned from the humble and patient Moroccans and (re)adopted: To have faith and trust in life, even if disappointments recur again and again...
