Das
Frühstück nahm ich heute Morgen mit Yassine in einem Cafe in Gueliz ein:
Mein vorläufig letztes Msemen... : ( Danach fuhren wir in die Medina zum Vermieter
seines Zimmers, das Yassine diesen Monat nicht bezahlen konnte und deshalb seit
ich-weiss-nicht-wann im Shop seiner Freunde wohnt... all sein Hab und Gut ist
in diesem Zimmer eingeschlossen und ich konnte das nicht mitansehen, deshalb
beglich ich seine offen stehende Rechnung und bezahlte gleich noch die Miete
für den Monat November, so kann er sich in Ruhe eine Arbeit suchen womit er
seinen Lebensunterhalt bestreiten kann. Wir machten konkrete Pläne und er wird
mich auf dem Laufenden halten…
Um 13
traf ich Mouad auf dem Parkplatz des Supermarktes Marjana, das sich auf dem Weg
zur Autobahn befindet. Wir tankten das Auto voll und fuhren los Richtung
Norden. Es war heiss, wieder um 35 Grad, und die Zeit mit viel Gesprächsstoff
verging im Nu... Nur in Rabat ist ein Autobahnunterbruch, der mit viel Verkehr
unsere Nerven strapazierte!
Unterwegs
erhielt ich Neuigkeiten von Abderrahim (2): Der ganze Strand vom Burj bis nach
Essaouira war fertig aufgeräumt und nun laufen sie nur noch jeden Tag die
Strecke ab um das Neuangeschwemmte einzusammeln! : )
Um
19:30 Uhr nach ca. 600 km kamen wir in Tanger an, aber auch hier war
Geduld angesagt, denn viele Strassen waren in Bau und es hatte fast keine
Wegweiser, so benötigten wir eine geschlagene Stunde um den Hafen zu erreichen!
Aber genau rechtzeitig für die letzte Fähre nach Tarifa - zudem ist in diesem kleineren
Hafen nach Tarifa die einfachere und kurzweiligere Abfertigung als im grösseren
namens MED nach Algeciras und weiteren Destinationen.
Breakfast this morning I had with Yassine in a cafe in Gueliz: My last Msemen for now... : ( Then we drove to the medina to the landlord of his room, which Yassine couldn’t pay this month and therefore lived in the shop of his friends since I-don’t-know-when... all his belongings are locked in the room and I just could not witness it, so I paid his open bill and also the rent for the month of November, like that he has time to look for a job to make his living. We made concrete plans and he will keep me posted...
At 1 pm I met Mouad at the parking lot of the supermarket Marjana, located on the way to the highway. We filled up the tank and drove off direction north. It was hot, again around 35 centigrade, and the time with a lot of conversation passed in a flash... Only in Rabat there is a highway interruption, which with a lot of traffic stressed our nerves!
On the way I received news of Abderrahim (2): They finished cleaning the whole beach from the Burj up to Essaouira and now they only walk the whole stretch every day to collect the new stuff washed ashore! : )
At 7:30 pm after about 600 km we arrived in Tangier, but again patience was announced, because many roads were under construction and there were almost no signposts, so it took us a whole hour to reach the harbour! But just in time for the last ferry to Tarifa – in addition, in this small harbour to Tarifa dispatch is much simpler and less time-consuming than in the larger named MED to Algeciras and other destinations.

Um 21
verliessen wir Tanger, nach 35 Minuten kamen wir in Tarifa an und bis wir den
Hafen verlassen hatten, war eine weitere Stunde verstrichen, es war also bereits
23:30 Uhr mit inkl. Zeitumstellung! Zum Glück ist Tarifa überschaubar
klein und schon das erste Hotel, das wir anpeilten war ein Volltreffer! So
bezogen wir kurz vor Mitternacht unser hübsches Zimmer im Hotel Misiana und
machten uns gleich darauf auf etwas essen zu gehen. Es herrschte reger Betrieb
in der schmucken Altstadt, denn viele Leute feierten Halloween. Wir setzen uns
ins Restaurant Punto Pizza, das ausser Pizzen vieles mehr auf der Karte
hatte. Hungrig stürzten wir uns auf die Patatas Bravas und mussten danach
prompt einen Teil unserer Hauptspeise stehen lassen... Bis wir endlich ins Bett
kamen war es fast 2 Uhr!

At 9 pm we left Tangier, after 35 minutes
we arrived at Tarifa and until we had left the port, another hour had passed, so
it was already 11:30 pm incl. time difference. Luckily Tarifa is a small and manageable
little town and already the first hotel we went to was a hit! So we moved into our
lovely room of the hotel Misiana shortly before midnight and thereafter immediately
went to eat something. There was a lot going on in the lovely historic city, as many people were celebrating Halloween. We had a table in the restaurant Punto Pizza,
where there was much more on the menu than pizzas. Hungrily we fell on the patatas
bravas and thereafter we promptly couldn’t finish our main course... Until we
finally got to bed it was almost 2 am!
