Um 9:30
Uhr trafen wir uns auf der Terrasse zum Frühstück und eine halbe Stunde später
gesellte sich Rachid (+212-6-529 060 17), unser Stadtführer dazu. Kurz darauf fuhren wir los zur
Gerberei bei Temperaturen schon um 38 Grad…
At 9:30 am we met on the terrace for breakfast and half an hour later Rachid (+212-6-529 060 17), our guide joined us. Shortly thereafter we drove off to the tannery with temperatures already at 38 centigrades...

Da wir
schon das Auto dabei hatten fuhren wir danach zu den Gärten von Yves Saint
Laurent: Jardin Majorelle.
Since we were already on the way with our car, we drove to the gardens of Yves Saint Laurent thereafter: Jardin Majorelle.

Nach den
Sehenswürdigkeiten ausserhalb der Medina parkierten wir das Auto beim Hotel und
Rachid führte uns souverän durch die Medina. Er weiss sooo viel, nicht nur
Geschichtliches... und alles aus dem Kopf! Das Kunsthandwerk ist in Marokko
sehr ausgeprägt und so sieht man überall wie mit den einfachsten Werkzeugen
Holz, Metall, Stein, Textilien und vieles mehr bearbeitet wird – oder in andern
Worten: Man kann sehen wozu der Mensch eigentlich fähig ist ohne Apparate...
After the sights outside the Medina we parked the car at the hotel and Rachid led us confidently through the medina. He knows sooo much, not only about history... and everything by heart! Crafts are very distinct in Morocco and everywhere you can see people working with the simplest tools on wood, metal, stone, textiles and much more – or in other words: You can see of what man actually is capable without devices...

Um 17 Uhr
waren wir zurück im Hotel und setzten uns auf der Terrasse in den Schatten, wo
ich endlich Zeit fand meinen Blog zu aktualisieren und einen kurzen Rast
einzulegen, bevor das Programm weiterging.
Around 5 pm we were back at the hotel and sat on the terrace in the shade, where I finally found time to update my blog and have a short rest before the program went on.

Kurz vor
20 Uhr fuhren wir los und folgten dem gezeichneten Plan des Receptionisten zur
Fantasia Chez Ali (https://chez-ali.ma), nur dass der nicht ganz stimmte und wir erst nach vielem
Nachfragen und einer Fahrt über ein Steinfeld auf dem riesigen Gelände
ankamen... dafür genau richtig zum Abendessen, begleitet von Musik und Gesang
verschiedener Stämme und einer Show mit Pferden - zwar etwas touristisch aber
doch unterhaltend. : )
Todmüde
und etwas erkältet fiel ich danach ins Bett.

Shortly before 8 pm we drove off and followed the drawn
plan of the receptionists to the Fantasia Chez
Ali (https://chez-ali.ma), only that
it was not entirely correct and we arrived at the huge property only after
asking lots of people and a trip over a stone field...
but just right for dinner, accompanied by music and singing of different tribes and a
show with horses - a bit touristy but
entertaining. : )
Dead tired and with a slight cold I fell into bed thereafter.
