Kein Wasser in Essaouira
No water in Essaouira

Melanie und Reto da sind bin ich krank... alles hat mit einer simplen Erkältung
in Essaouira begonnen und weil ich sie nicht auskurieren konnte, wurde sie immer
schlimmer mit Fieber, hässlichen Hustenattacken und heftigen
Gliederschmerzen... Zurück in Essaouira mit der Aussicht etwas Zeit zum Ausruhen zu
haben, war ich zeitweise absolut handlungsunfähig - zum Glück kannte Mel
Essaouira schon und konnte daher Reto herumführen.
Since Melanie and Reto are in Morocco I am ill... it all started with a simple cold in Essaouira and because I could not recuperate, it was getting worse with fever, ugly cough attacks and severe body aches... Back in Essaouira with the prospect of having time to rest a bit, I was temporarily totally incapable to move - luckily Mel knew Essaouira already and therefore was able to show Reto around.

Melanie hatte bei mir geschlafen und Reto
hatte für 4 Nächte das Studio oberhalb bzw. nebenan (von meiner Terrasse aus gesehen)
gemietet. Wir haben gemeinsam gefrühstückt und kauften ein, was wir
benötigten... und Latifa backte uns wieder leckere Semmen! Einmal haben wir uns
nach einem Morgenspaziergang bzw. Joggen in einem Strandrestaurant zum
Frühstück getroffen. : )
Melanie stayed over at my place and Reto rented the studio above resp. next door (as seen from our terrace) for 4 nights. We had breakfast together and bought whatever we needed... and Latifa spoilt us with her delicious semmen! Once we met up for breakfast at a beach restaurant after a morning walk resp. run on the beach. : )

Tagsüber
war es brütend heiss (um die 30 Grad), so dass wir den Nachmittag drinnen mit
Lesen, Arbeiten, Auskurieren oder mit einem Mittagsschlaf verbrachten und
erst am Abend die Medina aufsuchten um nach Souvenirs zu stöbern und
uns mit Freunden zu treffen.
Das
Wasserproblem blieb grösstenteils bestehen, so dass wir Wasser aufkochten und
es mit den Bidons mit kaltem Wasser, die Latifa und Noureddine uns bereit gestellt
hatten, mischten. Gerade jetzt mit meiner hartnäckigen Erkältung wollte ich
nichts riskieren! Zudem besuchten Melanie und ich auch einmal das Hamam um das
Wasserproblem zu überbrücken! : )
Dann
waren wir mit Ali und Rachid noch auf Wohnungsbesichtigung, aber schlussendlich
habe ich entschlossen noch einen Monat bei Latifa und Noureddine (+212-6-684 193 96) zu bleiben...

The water problem remained most of the time, so that we boiled water and mixed it with the containers of cold water, which Latifa and Noureddine had brought us. Right now with my stubborn cold I didn’t want to risk anything! In addition, Melanie and I visited once the hammam to overgo the water problem! : )
Then we also went to see some more apartments with Ali and Rachid, but in the end I decided to stay another month at Latifa and Noureddine’s (+212-6-684 193 96) place...
