Bye bye Essaouira
Nun hatte
ich meine Abreise schon bereits 2 Tage verschoben, aber heute war es endgültig
so weit, denn am 1. November ist das halbe Jahr für meinen Citroen mit spanischem
Nummernschild abgelaufen und für mich das 3-monatige Aufenthaltsvisum am 6. November…
zudem muss ich unbedingt etwas Geld verdienen, denn bis jetzt habe ich zwar gearbeitet aber kein Geld verdient - sondern nur ausgegeben!
Mouad
hatte das Auto eingeführt, so muss er es auch wieder ausführen, nur wartet er
gerade auf seinen Pass, den er erneuern lassen musste, und der ist immer noch
nicht angekommen in Tagounite… Seit ich weiss, dass die Zeit gekommen ist um Essaouira zu
verlassen, habe ich begonnen meine Siebensachen zusammenzuräumen und zu packen,
nur kam ich vor lauter Abfalleinsammeln am Strand zu nichts! Es ist wirklich
so: Wenn man einmal beginnt den Müll wegzuräumen, kann man nicht aufhören -
ausser wenn man keine Säcke mehr hat, wie es uns letzte Woche auch schon mal
ergangen ist! So wollen Abderrahim (2) und Lahcen unbedingt das Reststück noch
fertig säubern…
Etwas
nach 10 Uhr ging ich ein letztes Mal den schönen (fast) sauberen Strand entlang
joggen und hatte ein letztes Frühstück mit Abderrahim (2) auf meiner Terrasse…
Danach war endgütiges Packen angesagt sowie Verstauen des Gepäckes im Auto
(einen Koffer voller Ware lasse ich hier in Essaouira, in der Hoffnung bald
zurückzukehren!). Ich verabschiedete mich von Fatima, die mir die letzten 2
Nächte schenkte, brachte Abderrahim (2) in die Medina und machte mich bei 30 Grad auf den Weg Richtung Norden.
Now I had postponed my departure already 2 days, but today it was really time to leave, because
on November 1st my car with Spanish license plate has to leave the country as well as my 3-months tourist visa will be expired
on November 6th... in addition I have to make some money
as until now I
have worked but not made and omly spent money!
Mouad had imported the car, so he has to
export it, but he is currently waiting
for his passport, which he had to replace and
still has not arrived in Tagounite... Since
I know that the time has come to leave
Essaouira, I started to organize and pack my belongings, but when collecting rubbish at the
beach I hardly had no time for anything else! And it
is really like
this: Once you start clearing
away the rubbish, you cannot stop
- unless you have
no more bags, what happened to us last week! Very eager to finish cleaning the whole beach, Abderrahim (2) and Lahcen will
continue...
Just a bit after
10 am I went for a
last wonderful run along the (almost) clean beach
and had my last breakfast with Abderrahim (2)
on my patio... Then
I finally had to pack up and stow the luggage in the
car (a suitcase full of goods
I leave here in
Essaouira, with the
hope to return soon!). I said
goodbye to Fatima, who gave
me the last two
nights for free, dropped Abderrahim (2) off at the
Medina and took the road
direction north with the temperatures around 30 centigrade.

Nach einer kurzen Stippvisite in Zaouiet Bouzarktoun fuhr ich die 250 km durch nach El Jadida, wo ich um 19:30 Uhr im Vorort Sidi Bouzid im netten Hotel/Restaurant Florence (https://www.hotelflorence.ma) ein Zimmer und ein gutes Restaurant fand! Abderrahim (2) rief mich am Abend an und brachte mich auf den neusten Stand: Mit 4 Personen (er, Lahcen, Mustafa & Didier) wurden ‘nur‘ 5 Säcke gesammelt… erstens war es mit der Zeitumstellung um 18 Uhr schon dunkel und zweitens haben wir die meisten Flaschen bereits gestern eingesammelt…

After a brief visit in Zaouiet Bouzarktoun I
drove the 250 km
through to El Jadida, where I found a room and
a good restaurant at the nice Hotel/Restaurant Florence (https://www.hotelflorence.ma) in the suburb named
Sidi Bouzid at 8:30
pm! Abderrahim (2) called me to update me: With 4
persons (he, Lahcen,
Mustafa & Didier)
'only' 5 bags
were collected... first, it was already dark by 6 pm after the time change and secondly,
we had already
collected most of the bottles yesterday...
